HAUS Services as a service

Effective October 1, 2021, the Mass HIway no longer offers HIway Adoption and Utilization Support (HAUS) Services to assist organizations in the effective deployment of Health Information Exchange (HIE) to enhance care coordination. This service has been discontinued.

You can, however, still receive HIway Direct Messaging and Public Health Reporting support provided by HIway Account Managers. To learn more, click here.

To continue your HIE projects, you can find the resources that were used in the HAUS Services on the Resources page, in particular in the HIE Use Case Toolkit and Query HIE Toolkit.

Guidance for MassHealth ACO, CP, CSA Organizations

HIE will be an enabler to the success of alternative payment models in health care because HIE assists providers in improving care quality at a reduced cost.

While the HIway no longer provides HAUS Services to support providers in this endeavor, ACOs and CPs can continue to participate in the DSRIP Technical Assistance (TA) program, which is a separate initiative. To access the list of TA vendors, click here.
